Our Services

Practical information for families, caregivers, and community members seeking dignified cemetery services in Ottawa.

Clear information at an important time

Our role is to help families understand burial options, cemetery requirements, and administrative steps without unnecessary complexity.

Burial Services

Full burial plots

We provide information on lot availability, interment arrangements, companion plots, and coordinated scheduling with funeral providers. Current rates and plot availability are supplied directly through the office.

Cremation Interment

Cremated remains

Families may contact the Board regarding cremation interment options, memorial placement, and the documentation required before interment can proceed.

Administrative Help

Records and documentation

We assist with burial record searches, deed and ownership questions, transfer inquiries, and requests connected to existing family plots.

Grounds maintenance and seasonal care

Year-round maintenance is part of the cemetery's promise to families and the public. The Board oversees mowing, tree and shrub care, path upkeep, seasonal debris removal, and general attention to the appearance and safety of the grounds.

  • Spring clean-up and reopening after winter conditions.
  • Regular turf and landscape maintenance during the active season.
  • Path and section review to support safe visitor access.
  • Coordination of monument-related concerns where conditions require assessment.

Guidelines for memorial installation

Monuments and markers should be durable, legible, and appropriate to the lot size and cemetery setting. Before installation or replacement, families and monument providers should confirm approval requirements with the Board.

  • All work should be coordinated in advance with the office.
  • Foundations, dimensions, and placement must suit section conditions and lot boundaries.
  • Work should be carried out by qualified memorial professionals familiar with cemetery installations.
  • Decorative items should not obstruct maintenance access or adjacent lots.

Thoughtful planning reduces pressure later

Pre-planning allows families to understand burial options, gather records, and discuss memorial preferences before an urgent need arises. It can also reduce confusion about existing family plots, cemetery rules, and the paperwork required for interment.

We do not promote financial products. Our role is informational: helping families prepare practical details in a respectful and measured way.
